A Problem with "F"

ummm. I hate to say this, but I don't think there are any Bible names that start with "F". Of course my entire research consists of watching the movie "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" in which all of the children are named alphabetically with Bible names. The 6th child was a boy. They named him Frank... short for Frankincense because they couldn't find another name....

I like that. Creative parenting.

I love Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. :D

But there are actually a few Biblical names that start with F.

Felix - Governor in Acts 23-25

Festus - His first name was Porcius, but he's referred to as Festus. He succeeded Felix in Acts 24-25

There's a guy by the name of Fortunatus mentioned briefly in 1 Corinthians 16:17.

(I only know this because I did an internet search, because I knew that I had read F names in the Bible. When I read them a long time ago, I thought "that mom in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers missed something here!") ;)

I didn't know that there weren't any Bible names for the letter "F" so I've just learned something new by visiting your blog.
